Una Bambina e nata! A Child is born!
Congratulations and blessings to Max and Kate Finberg
upon the birth of their daughter, Eliana Grace. She was
born in Rome on March 9, 2005.
Max writes, "Eliana means "My God has answered me" in Hebrew
and has the benefit of being able to be pronounced by the
Italians. Both mama and bambina are doing great and adjusting to
life as the three of us. We're even managing to get a little bit
of sleep." |

Financial Seminar
On March 12, 2005, our Director of Church Operations,
Theodore Daniels, presented a seminar sponsored by the Men's
Organization. It was entitled "Maximizing your Financial
Blessings." The seminar provided church members with vital
information to help them make decisions regarding their personal
finances. The seminar was well-attended, and everyone who
attended learned a great deal.

Motorcycles for Haiti
In September of 2004, we presented a monetary
gift to Sister Phyllis Newby to aid her ministry. The gift was
used to purchase motorcycles to allow ministers to travel from
church to church in Haiti. She recently sent us a note and a
picture. She writes:
"I am still tingling with excitement. Nothing
like this had ever happened in all my 33 years in Haiti. See for
yourselves - four leaders each with a new motorcycle. What words
can we find to express the love and gratitude of our hearts. How
you have blessed us. A million thank you's seem not enough. May
the Lord continue to bless you even more than you can think or
ask." |
|

Always Learning
